I saw this a while ago and just ran across it again recently and thought I would share it with you. I love seeing these pros with low end gear… It removes all the tech and really showcases their discipline, skill and patience as artists. I walked away very inspired by this. Good stuff!
I hate looking for stock images… Prices are all over the place, and its hard to find something when you don’t always know exactly what you’re looking for. Luckily I saw a tweet announcing Stocksy. I am really excited about about their high quality, low cost images. Finally someone thinking outside the box when it comes to stock images and curation!
I don’t consume a lot of photography training, or at least I didn’t until I had the opportunity to watch this Headshot tutorial DVD. I had always assumed photography was a completely different world with little crossover. And I think a lot of us foolishly believe that filmmaking/video is a superior medium that evolved from photography. Especially with all the hubbub of the DSLR video movement.
