I’ve really enjoyed working with the TorchLED Bolt. I highly recommend you invest in one or two of these. I’ve used mine for a background light, rim/hair light, catchlight and in some cases a fill light. Such a great little light to have in your bag for any project.

You can find the TorchLED Bolt light on Amazon and B&H Photo Video.

The price is a bit high, but it does have some neat features for run & gun shooters. Are there any cheaper alternatives?

Good stuff Caleb, I have something similar and I use it all the time like you said. I love that you can change the color temp, that is a feature I use all the time.

$300!!! THATS CRAAAZZY! i get get 10 of the cheaper light a that run off the same battery and have 3 different defusing jells and you can dim them! So what if I break it! I’ll have 9 more to spare! http://goo.gl/KRQRt <– I have like 5 of these lights they are plastic but are super bright , works great I've dropped them 20+ times and I'm still getting 100% of my led lights working just fine! I'd take this light over that light any day!
