EVF Updates

So its been awhile since RedRock Micro announced their MicroEVF and Zacuto showcased their ideas for the Z-FinderEVF. Since then there have been some changes in specs, information, pricing, etc. The main changes being Zacuto adding mounting options, and Redrock adding a loupe through HDMI support (copycat?). Here are some videos from both manufacturers updating us on EVF info.

    These “changes in specs, information, pricing, etc.” (read = release year) are frustrating. I’m sure that wonderful products like these, the Red Scarlet, and the hydrogen powered car will be on the market any day (or decade). But for those of us who have to make buying decisions and answer to the bottom line right now, these “to be determined” announcements are of no value. I wish Zacuto and Red Rock would just focus on shipping rather than this sort of marketing.
