Cinevate’s Cyclops System

Cinevate recently put out 3 videos showcasing different configurations for their new Cyclops viewfinder. While I have yet to use one, I have no doubt the optics on this unit will be of incredible quality. I am very excited about Cinevate’s new solutions for HDSLR shooters and how they are providing tools to help us achieve more with these great cameras.

    I had a chance to field test the Cinevate Cyclops recently. If you shoot outdoors in bright sunlight, wear glasses or just want a better view, this unit is for you.

    I noticed a few other benefits. The rig is rock solid. It serves as a mini rig and offers a bit of protection for the camera. It’s more than a viewfinder as you can use both eyes to see the image…and even keep the glasses on!
