Edelkrone Slider Demo Footage

Finally a closer look at some Edelkrone slider footage! I can’t get over how clever this slider design is. Anyone think they will be getting one? Why/why not?

Since the release of SliderPLUS+ there has been a wide interest and many filmmakers were very enthusiastic to see the worlds first slider that can move twice its length.

Up till now we only had the chance to show the virtual images of the SliderPLUS+ but now we are happy to share you the first demo video showing a real SliderPLUS+ fully working in action.

    I agree…it looks nice, but $500 is quite a bit of money. How far does it actually extend? Is it only two feet or does it extend further than that?

    pros: you can do wide push ins/pull backs that normal sliders cant without outrigging. it will fit in a backpack and will get you lots of positive attention on sets/locations. Way more than the “mystique” of matte boxes and cage rigs that are often purchased to “look professional”.

    cons: its a 1.7 foot slider, which is really quite short. it will fit in a backpack, but its thick so it’ll take up quite a bit of space in a backpack. It will get you lots of attention on sets/locations, but often times thats annoying. hehe.

    The price is fair compared to the other higher quality sliders. I’m on the fence how badly I need one… or if I need one. Its definitely a quirky cool product though.
