I am not a super huge GH2 fan, because of the sensor size, lens choice and a few other little things. But I know with the new hacks it now sports a really powerful sensor.

    the hack didn’t change the sensor! ; )  it was there,powerful to begin with…just evil corporate decision to not use it to its fullest…otherwise who’s gonna buy the 3000 euro “Pro” cams…so your bias was ungrounded… the 5D can simply breath the dust behind the gh2 at the current stage of events – close to 200 mb rate…imagine the detail you get for the price…
    also to be noted maybe useful…the lens on panasonic are overpriced too…for sure this zoom 14 -140 mm is !

    If the GH2 is leaving the 5D in the dust, than why do you never see them being used by professional filmmakers? The 5D is still king, with the 7D on its right hand side. Its as simple as lens selection. The lenses available for the Canon bodies far out way the lower bit rates.

    If you ever try a 5D with a 24mm F1.4 you will wet yourself and never question it again (as I did)
