I’ve been pretty impressed with some of the new gear coming from Aputure and their new V-Mic D2 is no exception.
What makes this microphone interesting, is that there is a step-less level adjustment knob on the unit. This means you can adjust mic levels without those nasty “steps” you would find on many audio recorders or camera mic settings.
While I haven’t personally tested this mic yet, it seems like it would be a great option for minimal shooters who need to make subtle mic level changes on the fly. You can read more about the V-Mic D2 on Aputure’s website and pick one up at Amazon or eBay.
