Hey kids its NAB time! Sadly I was not able to make it out this year. But I have enjoyed the fine coverage from guys like FreshDV and Wide Open Camera (be sure to check them out).

FCP X
If you on twitter, you’re probably sick of hearing about FCP X, but I gotta put this one in. Coming in at a new price of only $299 the new Final Cut Pro is a favorite. And we now have 64-bit, 4k editing, and native DSLR integration!!! More info on FCP X here.
SmallHD DP4 EVF+Monitor
I was just about sold on the Zacuto EVF when I saw SmallHD’s own EVF. I’ve always loved the idea of a small monitor for light camera configs, and SmallHD has created that plus an EVF:
